Company
A venture in the open.
Credence is building the AI reserving analyst for US P&C insurers. This page says what exists today, what's next, and how to point it at your own book.
What exists today
Built, live, checkable
The AI analyst
Hand it a prepared book and it reads the triangle, diagnoses what a senior reviewer would flag, quantifies the reserve impact, and takes your questions — every figure engine-checked. See it think.
Workbench + workspace
The analyst's calculator: chain-ladder, Bornhuetter–Ferguson, Mack, and a seeded ODP bootstrap, validated against the literature. No signup, or register free to save books.
The Scenario Library
42 interactive simulations across 8 insurance lines — pick a decision, watch 2,000 futures compute, compare the trade-offs. Run one.
The platform
Intake agents on real claims data, continuous actual-vs-expected monitoring, and the sign-off workflow — built hands-on with the first founding partners.
Founding partners
Three slots. Your book shapes the product.
We're taking three founding partners: US P&C MGAs or small/mid mutuals with a quarterly close that genuinely hurts and one to three actuaries carrying it.
You get: the platform built around your book, your terms, and your close — plus permanent founding pricing and a direct line to the team.
It starts with a working session, not a slide deck: bring a hard question and a triangle, leave with your own numbers — computed, ranged, and traced.
BOOK A WORKING SESSION
Write to [contact email — being confirmed] with one paragraph about your book and your close. We reply to every serious note within two business days.
Not ready to talk? Run the workbench on your own triangle first — no account needed.
Operating principles
The rules we won't break
Claims you can check
Every claim on this site either runs live in your browser or is labeled as roadmap. Test any number we publish before you believe it.
The actuary signs
We build drafting machinery for a profession defined by personal accountability. The product will never pretend to be the signer.
Grounded, even when it's slower
The analyst may only cite numbers the engine can verify. If a capability can't be made traceable, it waits. Ungrounded AI is not a feature we ship.
